Domenico's method is pure bespoke: traditional tailoring techniques, refined for the modern world and practised with integrity. Domenico drafts an individual pattern for you, cuts the cloth by hand and crafts the garment in our own workroom, fitting it to you at each stage.
The difference is clear as you stand in front of the mirror. The sartorial balance, proportion, drape, refinement & the obvious visual presence in attire made by Domenico. It will also show up years later in the after care he provides as our shapes change slightly accommodating your attire with alterations.

The detailed consultation
When you are ready, Kellie sits down with you for 60 to 90 minutes, or as long as you need, to talk through the occasion and style, select cloth from our vast collection options and Domenico will take your measurements & chat with you. You will know the full price before anything is cut.
Two fittings
Your suit takes shape over two fittings, each one an adjustment to your body rather than a standard block.
The finished suit
Most garments are ready in around five weeks, made start to finish in his studio, the sartoria (the workplace of an artist in Italian). Working to a tight deadline? Tell Domenico the date – he has met many, because nothing waits on an offshore factory.

Domenico Carbone learned the craft at his father's side — a tailor trained in Italy by master artisans, who founded the house in 1954. A second-generation master tailor, Domenico continues that craft today, working to a standard of excellence set long before fashion moved offshore.
